There is an amazing video of a three year old boy born with amniotic band syndrome or some similar name, where he has a part of a fist and a nub or two of fingers. 3D printing is making amazing strides in printing cheap little prosthetic arms and legs - something most people couldn’t do with kids because the prosthetic costs thousands and has to be replaced as the kid grows.
He wanted a prosthetic hand that looked like Iron Man’s so he had a red and yellow prosthetic hand made by a charity. It cost around $50 plus volunteer design time.
The first thing he did was hold his hands together, then hold everyone else’s hands.
The “burden” of the disability she’s concerned about is going away.
And giving in to “you’re not perfect, off with you” opens the door to the kid that lives saying the same thing when she’s looking at expensive assisted living instead of living at home.
I sometimes sit in and play the bass with my friend Kevin, who is a one-armed guitar player.
I teach guitar, but Kevin is a better player than I am.
And he is beloved.
Murderous bitch. She oozes with evil.
Thank you kindly, momtothree, it really made me sad to read that she had done that.
