I think we're all getting that fuzzy warm feeling when the very people who intended to inflict totalitarian tyranny upon us suddenly are the victims of the very thing they supported.
There is a HUGE onslaught of hacking of late. I've had to completely address and update security lately. Everyone should. Watch alerts and take them seriously. ANYTHING online is at risk.
No.
Streamed on youtube on top of being hanged or drawn/quartered. Either would work.
Makes me think of this Japanese industrialist. With SPECTRE's help, pull off a major hack, no problem.
arr you sony mateliar is berong to us.
another striking possibility.
That this hacking only happened to one company points to an inside job.
Let’s not forget that not too long ago Sony PlayStation data was hacked and compromised. Their IT doesn’t seem too be all that great. ...
What you should really watch out for is where you swipe your card. Retailers have been getting hit with regularity over the past couple years with quite a bit of data breach. If at all possible, use you “bank card” as credit vice atm/debit. There at least is some recourse should your data be compromised and your account used illegally. If you can swing it, it is also a good idea to cancel out your current card from time to time and request a new card. I try to do that every year at least (usually just after the holidays are over). The only downside is I am without a card for a week or so and I have to plan accordingly.
True, but they saved over 50% on IT costs by hiring remote third worlders, where intellectual property is a foreign concept.
If you can get your hands on it, this is a great read-— the scathing book-— “Hit and Run: How Jon Peters and Peter Guber Took Sony for a Ride in Hollywood”——by Nancy Griffin and Kim Masters.
All about former hairdresser Jon Peters (Babra Streisands’ ex-pal), Peter Guber, and “Sony Pictures Entertainment” made billions duping the Japanese.
Amy Pascal.
HOLLYWEIRDOES SUCK-UP--- MAKE A BUNDLE CREATING "VICTIMS"---On December 9, 2014, a major illegal breach of Sony's computer systems by "Guardians of Peace" hackers using Shamoon malware led to disclosure of many gigabytes of internal company documents.
In subsequent news coverage Pascal and Scott Rudin were noted to have had an exchange about Pascal's upcoming encounter with Pres Obama. Amy Pascal asked "What should I ask the president at this stupid Jeffrey breakfast?" [hosted by Jeffrey Katzenberg, a major Democratic Party donor].
Rudin: "Would he like to finance some movies.
Pascal: "I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?" Rudin: "12 YEARS." Pascal: "Or the butler. Or think like a man?" Rudin: "Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart."
Django Unchained, Twelve Years a Slave and The Butler were selections that focused on slavery in the United States or the pre-civil rights era, while Think like a Man and Ride Along also prominently featured black actors.
Several news reports branded the exchange as racially insensitive. Pascal later apologized, saying "the content of my emails were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am," and also "I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive and not funny at all.
Civil rights leader Al Sharpton suggested the apology was not sufficient, compared her to Donald Sterling, and called for more diversity in Sony's hiring pool.
In Pascal's defense, Aaron Sorkin told The Hollywood Reporter that she had made a sincere apology, stating: Amy knows more than a lot of people what its like to battle stereotypes. Shes a woman at a large corporation who worked her way from assistant to the chairmans office." Adding: Amy would rather cut off her own hand than intentionally hurt someone. (WIKI excerpts)
It'll just give the cronies in Congress more excuses to promote tyranny.
Wow, Sony really pissed off their IT department.
Yeah, that was insensitive. Pootie Tang and Friday are more his speed.

I hear Pascal’s nickname among Sony insiders is “Electrolux.”
You do the math. ROTFLOL.
Sony is threatening to sue the media. Funny they were not threatening the media in Sowden’s case. Whatever, if it is Chinese, fhe backmail will work. Screw them. They are in bed with Snowden and the Chinese.
If it’s the iranians all bets are off
