A whimsical statistical study published in the British Medical Journal’s Christmas issue uses a database of bizarre and often fatal behavior to apply scientific scrutiny to what it calls Male Idiot Theory.
Finally, a scientific explanation for Johnny Knoxville — he of “Jackass” fame — and the fans that keep him at his dangerous and moronic antics: Male Idiot Theory.
New research has rigorously tested Male Idiot Theory, which posits that, well, men are idiots and are driven to take ridiculous risks despite the clear prospects for self-harm, and for no defensible reason. Newly published by the venerable British Medical Journal (in its annual BMJ Christmas issue), the landmark study has shown that Male Idiot Theory holds up under scientific scrutiny.

Possibly a matter of opportunity and predilection: women are much less likely to be involved with “tempting”, dangerous machinery, materials, or situations, e.g., “Hey, Bubba, hole ma beer and watch me drive this bulldozer over the cliff while I juggle these running chain saws.”
Yeah, sure, okay. Of course, no one dares mention the female equivalent of the Darwin award: going off with strange and/or dangerous men who do them in. Oops...there, I said it.

I saw something the other day (don’t think here) that said the ONLY time a man is smarter than a woman is during sex.
Cause during the act itself, the man is plugged into a f’n know it all.
...The ADM was waiting for another ADM to show up for a briefing and they - JO’s etal were setting up the room.
There was an Enlisted Sailor setting up chairs and of the many subjects being discussed, it came down to whether sex was work or play.
After all the O’s had played it out, the ADM asked the EM what his opinion was...

“Sex must be play Sir. Any work involved and the Officers would have me doing it for them”.
I don’t think men are dumb at all. I do think that men and women are “wired” differently. Men (IMHO) take more risks and possibly try new things that they haven’t learned. For example, a man may try to cut a tree down without any sort of training vs a woman who would possibly hire someone. That doesn’t make a man dumb.. it makes him more “adventurous”. I despise reports/studies like this.. it is simply a way to annoy people. I have one son and two daughters... ALL of them have done some of the most dumb a$$ stunts imagined but they are all adventurous. A little too adventurous for my taste but that is a different story.
Everyone should just be female, of course nothing would get created, mastered and built, but we could live in thatch huts and eat berries and use twigs for firewood, and of course the bears and wolves wouldn’t bother us.
ONLY a woman would write such an article. Now men would attempt to test such a theory, sure, because, well, we’re idiots and this sounds like fun for the first few minutes. But only a woman would write this as something to keep in her girly “toolbox” for the future.
The purpose of these idiotic manly stunts is to impress the otherwise unimpressible fellow man and of course, the ever-present-in-our-minds panting-woman who sees or will certainly hear of such wreckless bravery and skill!!!

Honestly, I’m so sick of the universal acceptance that it’s ok to attack men, especially white men. Eff that!
