Not seeing her in the afterlife would be my hell.

I believe that true pets are gifts from God ("entertaining angels unaware", perhaps?). He gave them something special - not a soul like we have, but still something that sets them apart from other animals. I find it hard to fathom that they would not be welcomed back to Him to be loved as the beings he made them to be. They know loyalty and yes, love that is not imagined by the owner and extends beyond merely gratitude for a human being feeding them. I believe this to be a wonderful and often overlooked gift by an omnipotent and generous God.

It may not be written in the Bible that all cats and dogs go to Heaven (although there is a passage in Romans someone pointed out here not long ago that seems to apply)...but perhaps He didn't mention it because He is more concerned with us getting there and having the ability to recognize a blessing when we see, pet and yes, feed it.
