I figured something a little lighter for folks not feeling up to watching the first film I posted tonight was in order.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite comedies of all time. So many great lines.

"This mountain is PURE SNOW!"

"Gee, Ricky, I'm real sorry your mom blew up."

And the best of all: "Now that's a real shame, when folks be throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that."

"Truly a sight to behold. A man beaten. The once great champ, now, a study in moppishness. No longer the victory hungry stallion we've raced so many times before, but a pathetic, washed up, aged ex-champion."

I absolutely love this movie!

“I’ve been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I’m no dummy. I know high school girls.”

“Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.”

“TWO DOLLARS! I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!!”

Classic '80s comedy. Of course, whenever I see that paperboy I automatically think of Stefan Molyneux now.

I liked the part where the one guy who wears the Foreigner T-shirt bumps into the other guy at the grocery store and he gets all worked up and ends up throwing bottles of tomato sauce (Ragu?) over into the next aisle and the old lady with the large handbag gets thumped in the head with one of them.

Hijinks ensue.

Man I’m old. Saw it in a theater when it was released. Had a big crush on Diane Franklin.

One of my favourite movies of all time. Now I’m going to have to watch it again. Great Christmas scenes, btw.

Most memorable line, “I want my two dollars.” Former paper boys will understand the line.

I was all bummed out by the Boner, er, Imean Boener treachery, and you pulled me from the brink. I have gotten to really appreciate 80s movies.
