You must have forgotten to read the article to the end. It was a hoax. The guy bought rabbit meat at a store to cook and eat. The pet rabbit is alive. And the girlfriend who owns the rabbit says that's true.
However, Diatchenko over the phone told Lazar, “This is all a misunderstanding. We got into an argument but I didn’t kill the bunny. Oh, it's not required; it's only recommended so that you can have the correct info. But correct info is generally avoidable, indeed, I'd say the vast majority of the comments on internet forum threads are ill-informed. You, and the "asshats" you deride, are all in plentiful company.
