Morning AM! Sitting here having my toast and coffee. Strawberry jam on the toast. Smuckers Jam I bought recently. It’s been so long since I had store bought jam, I forgot how thick and sweet it is. Too sugary. I’ll have to get the low-sugar stuff next time.

Did you see where two more bankers died? Somebody said that makes 63 bankers this year!

I am always amazed at the knowledge of all of the freepers who frequent this thread!

Good morning n’@!

YES...DOESNT seem like a good time to be a (using trendy term) “bankster.” It kinda reads like a John Grisham novella.

So how and what will the Tea Party Rs do to STOP Boehner’s Omnibus Love Letter to Dear Leader? DEFUND, DEFUND, DEFUND!

I was always a “back office” compliance/audit person.
I am still a compliance person, but not in a bank. :)
The small company I work for is pretty awesome.

Sorry to be posting out of sync with the group. For the rest of the week I’m still on BillyBus duty. PAMom...you are done with that job this year right?

I do try to catch up in the afternoon and have posted a couple of times but there seems to be a problem with Comcast again. Most of the time VERY SLOW at home. Yesterday I kept getting errors trying to access FR. Other sites seemed slow but OK.

A call is in to Comcast so maybe Friday the tech will be out.

Hope springs eternal in DUmmieland as the UN wants US officials prosecuted for crimes against humanity, i.e. torture. Yeah, RIGHT!

Then there is the never ending propaganda from the media. Just this morning on the John Tesh program we air he ran a segment supposedly about why rich people are rich. One of the main reasons? They have insurance. It wasn’t said but HEAVILY implied that we should applaud Obama for giving us Obamacare. Now we’s cans be richies too...THANKS OBAMA!

GAG!

Good morning n’@!

Sadly I WILL be done soon. Not sure if my co-worker and I will be getting “liquidation” hours as our employers are selling fixtures, etc will have to be there to negotiate prices, so I don’t think they’ll need to pay us. So once I have my last “day” (as of right now, next Friday) I guess I file for unemployment the following Monday (since I have to also file FAFSA for two sons for next year’s college). FAFSA goes off your previous years income, so I don’t know how unemployment comp will figure in.

I hope things are better at your station (and you’ll still be employed). This is so distressing for me (I have NO Christmas spirit right now...tree stuff & decorations just stacked in boxes...and my hearts not “in” putting it all out).
