The president spoke about his experiences as a young black man and opened up about concerns he has about the way his daughters, Sasha and Malia, and future grandsons could be treated in society because of their skin color.
'I want my children to be seen as the individuals that they are, and I want them to be judged based on the content of their character and their behavior and their talents and their gifts,' he told BET's Jeff Johnson.
'I don't want them to be objects of fear simply because of misguided attitudes.'
Obama said that part of what makes the racial tension exploding in America 'so heart breaking and frustrating for a lot of folks' is 'the recognition that simply by virtue of color, you've got less margin for error.'

After seeing the way blacks talk about the Obama daughters, racism should be the least of his worries.
He wants them judged on “behavior”, but when his pouty daughters are judged by their pouty behavior he calls it racism.
With their parents, they will probably be the racists.

So...a black man who ascended to state senator, and then a two-term president of the United States is - in effect - telling his daughters, and other black youth, “if you have ANY problems in your life it will be because you are black.”.

I think blacks who actually rely on the content of their character generally succeed in their lives. It ain’t the color, it’s the attitude.
I sincerely hope his daughters suffer in some way that Obama is witness to.
If Obama had been judged thus: “I want them to be judged based on....their behavior and their talents and their gifts” .
Sushi and Malaria will live a permanent life of privilege and security. They will be treated with deference and obsequiousness from an endless coterie of toadies and sycophants. The only racism in their lives will be that which they learn from their alleged parents.
Would that be WHILE they receive US taxpayer $$$$ and taxpayer-paid security for the rest of their lives?
