Forget Ginger vs Mary Anne.....Morticia vs. Lily.

An unnecessary dilemma.

Why not both?

Lily! Most definitely! Morticia was too proper. I can see Lily get frisky...

How about the person who was “thing”.

I just looked it up on Wiki. Would you believe Ted Cassidy? Unless Lurch and Thing were in the same scene, then they’d have one of the crew play him.

Sounds right. Ted was “Thing” and Lurch.

Trivia question, without looking it up what was Wednesday’s middle name?

I always enjoyed watching that show. It was witty, and the work of creative genius, IMO.

RIP, Ken Weatherwax.

The Addams Family is an excellent example of bringing something from another medium to TV and Cinema. Based upon the Charles Addams' series of cartoons in the New Yorker (1938-1988) there was enough materiel to allow the show's creators and writers sufficient scope for the 2 years of the B&W ABC show. Later there were 2 successful movies from the same materiel. Note: In the cartoons it appears that Pugsly is younger than Wednesday, unlike the TV cast.
