The “Night Gallery” episode was from the early 1970s. He was stuck in a room with a gigantic stack of records playing classical music.
Wonder if he was related to animal trainer (Lassie) Rudd Weatherwax
THe media source misspelled the name. It’s Pugsley, not puglsey
Dad? I meant to say husband. Big difference, (or should be).
.....unless you're Woody Allen.
No, Astin was suppose to be the father of one of Patty Duke’s kids, Sean Astin, but later DNA tests proved the kid was fathered by the guy Duke married for a week when she was having “issues.”
I saw John Astin do a one-man Edgar Allen Poe show...
He was. Rudd was his Uncle.
The only way for him to tell if it was his wife or her identical cousin was to see if a hot dog made her lose control.
From what I read, Desi Arnez Jr. was supposed to be his biological father but it was some other guy. John Astin was always his stepfather.

I also read that he calls all of his stepfathers “dad”. Not bad since I also read he attended a ProLife Award Dinner. That says alot. I hate it that they had to kill him off on FX show “The Strain”.
Here’s Patty who’s slept most everywhere
From Hollywood to Herald Square
But John could only bang the girls
On overseas locations whirls
What a crazy pair!
He has fathers
Identical fathers, and you’ll find
They snort alike
Cavort alike
They duck out on support alike
You can lose your mind
When fathers
Are two of a kind!
He does’t look very healthy in that photo.
Creative writing. I can hear the theme song with all those blasty trumpets.
Desi Jr, always seemed rather unbalanced. Who knows what it was really like, growing up in Hollywood, at the start of the Television Age, with two extremely famous entertainers, both known for their hot tempers. Luci, as always seemed The Big Sister, trying to straighten things out.
RIP.
Thanks very much! not a common surname :)
Blossom Rock, who played Grandmama, was the older sister of Jeanette MacDonald.
Good one ‘Frog!
