Probably, although LA is admittedly a dump. I would love to go to Egypt and Stonehenge...and even Venice.
Went to Stonehenge and Venice. Liked both. Certainly not “disappointing.”
I go to England and Ireland to see the castles and Stonehenge. The Pyramids would be on the bucket list only if they could be packed up and shipped here for a few days. I’ve seen enough of the world to prefer to stay at home.
Venice smells. Just saying. I literally is an open sewer.
I love two “tourist traps” and will return - Niagara Falls and The Grand Ganyon.
I love Rome. I love Maui but its too long of an airplane trip. And I get claustrophobic on islands.
I would like to return to Machu Piccho (sp?) but only if I can stay at the hotel at the top.
I would like to walk part of the pilgrim walk in Spain.
We’re going to go stay with friends in Miami Beach in February for a couple of weeks so Little Havana. (they’re Cuban)
We want to go to the NW and camp in our little RV.
Some of the tourists who wrote the reviews must be brain damaged or just stupid. “ Stonehenge was a pile of rocks” duh. And a prehistoric astronomic observatory. No wonder at how Neolithic man could move, shape and pile those “ rocks”? Idiot.
Venice. Tourist areas ? Sure. Walk out of the tourist areas, amazing old Palazos. The Arsenal of Venice. The Doges palace. The Quadriga from Constantinople. More idiots.
People like that should stick to Disney world or stay home.
