First order of business for the Big 12.

1. Get two more teams
2. Get a championship game
3. Admit the Co-Champion nonsense was stupid and award Baylor the title.

That wound up costing them, big time. This co-champion nonsense made them look silly.

BYU is one of the two but whom else?? Try and lure Colorado back for old times sake?? Invite Colorado State?? Boise State?

At the end of the day, it is still nearly-grown men playing a child’s game that has absolutely nothing to do with the education that an individual attains at any school. Just paid entertainers.

When the AP picked the “mythical national champion, “ there was controversy; when the BCS picked the wo top teams to play for the championship, there was controversy;etc. I think they ought to just let it go back to a regional competition and let the conference championships mean something again. And the Bowls.

I agree the gambit to try and score two berths by declaring co-champions hurt the Big 12. They even ran a commercial that said “One True Champion” and then didn’t pick one.
