My conclusion, based on the only facts available:
Multiple people of unknown race, ethnicity, gender, were stabbed. Number of victims and extent of injuries: unknown
One suspect in custody - African American - subdued with use of taser.
Motive - unknown.

Baseless speculation is so much more interesting!
The story tells us almost nothing, as is typical. Was the train in motion? Did the suspect just board from a station while the train was stopped? Was he a paying passenger? Were police on the train already or did they have to be called?
I once considered traveling Amtrak, but when I learn that they disarm CHL holders, I backed off. at least airplanes supposedly have Air Marshals.
