On Thursday's "Hannity" on the Fox News Channel, conservative columnist and author of "Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican," argued the root cause behind the incident that resulted in the death of Eric Garner was the government's strong desire to collect taxes. Transcript as follows: HANNITY: Here with reaction is the one and only Ann Coulter. How are you? COULTER: Great. HANNITY: I want to ask you -- because there are two ways to look at the Eric Garner case. Now, we can look at it emotionally... COULTER: I'll tell you how to look at it. You -- you -- you... HANNITY: You tell me. Go ahead. COULTER: You're the only one that has been right about this. This is nonsense that this had anything to do with race. This is a tax case. It was Bloomberg that insists on, We're going to deploy the police to collect taxes because they need to pay the pensions of their public sector union buddies. Bloomberg starts arresting all these people.

I find myself agreeing with Ann Coulter for the first time in years. This was about government greed, plain and simple. If the NY socialist utopia didn’t require so much money to keep going, there wouldn’t be such a black market for these products.

New York - becuase NY has the highest gas prices. I think they used to follow cars that went out of state for refills and arrest them for avoiding paying tax.

A friend of mine quit the NYPD because he said for 3 years all he did was act as nothing more than a revenue collector for the city, tickets tickets tickets tickets. About 5 years ago I had a SERGEANT of the NYPD give me 4 tickets all at once while driving ONE BLOCK at 5am in the morning. I dropped off my brother near Penn Station and made a left down 32nd street, and he dumped on me tickets for not signaling, improper turn, improper lane change, no seat belt. An NYPD Sergeant with a ticket quota, un-freakin-real. My friend eventually got a job with the secret service of all things as if that’s any better. He told me protecting Hillary is treated as a punishment, if you F up you get punished by having to follow cankles all day LOL!
