Microsoft will be at least 1 year behind but will be playing catch up with Apple and Google.

From what I've noticed, it's Google and Apple that are years behind Microsoft in OSes. In fact, it's going to be years before Apple catches up with what Windows 8/8.1 can do, and Google isn't even in the game.

Apple is still trying to improve on it's OSX UI, and that is about 20 years behind the times.

I've had no problems with Windows 8/8.1, and those that complain about the OS, have either never used it, or didn't know how to get it to work. Besides, inside Windows 8/8.1, resides Windows 7. But, Windows 8/8.1 is a lot more efficient, and actually, more intuitive.

So, instead of just bashing Windows 8/8.1 in general terms, why not tell us, with details, what it is that you dislike about the OS?

Not so fast... Apple is almost double the size in Capital than Microsoft. It's#1 in the World. As for Google they are neck and neck with Microsoft. However, Google is way more innovative than Microsoft.

Sorry but Microsoft has lost it's innovation. All they do is copy and then try to resale it.

Just think Microsoft calls it Windows. Gee where did they get the “Windows” idea???

I know a lot of people that have Windows 8 and do not like it.

Microsoft is now making Tablets and Smart phones. Gee where did they get that idea too???
