2-Day Storm Breaks Southern California Rainfall Records

Forecasters say that from Tuesday through tonight, the region will experience its heaviest rainfall since March. Tuesday produced a raft of rainfall records for a December 2.

It happened to me once flying in there. I distinctly remember the pilot saying “We’re going to have a delay while they reverse the runways”, then he correcting himself, saying “Actually the runways are staying the way they are. It’s the traffic pattern that they’re reversing.”
