Let Anita Sarkeesian play it - there’s gotta be some patriarchy in it somewhere.

I want to make sure my boys are not beholden to, nor complicit in perpetuating, gender-normative (and/or hetero-normative) social constructions
That is the only construction that a stable society consists of. The too-often-repeated alternatives are what kill societies. It sure is funny that the problem of women being kidnapped (which happens too often in real life) and good men going to rescue them is somehow the wrong message, because societally-emasculated men are certainly not going to be the first line of counterattack never mind defense.

I dont want to raise average men. I want to raise politically progressive individuals who are compassionate, tolerant, and patient. I want to make sure my boys are not beholden to, nor complicit in perpetuating, gender-normative (and/or hetero-normative) social constructions. He wants to raise sodomites. I'm actually surprised he managed to procreate.

Wow, can ya insert any more meaningless liberal word collections containing absolutely no meaningful information in there?
What an Obamahole.

How much you want to bet he has a high pitched, whiny voice?

Since progressives are not tolerant, his project is doomed from the start.

progressives are not tolerant Certainly. Still, I'm sure you saw the "hetero-normative" bit. I'm sure you know what that means ... and what that means he wants his boys to be doing with other men.

IOW she wanted daughters and sees having sons as HER failure and a burden from the boys’ father.
She is no mother.

"hetero-normative"
The guy is just another freak trying to impart his own psychosis onto another generation.
Gosh, I thought the article was satire.

He’s got the fashionably longish tousled hair, the fashionable five-day stubble, and the fashionable eyeglasses to complete the “I am so smart” image. Just another pajama boy.
