Back in the day of the first generation Porsche Turbo Carrera, a stunning 1 in 20 of the cars were wrecked on day they left the lot.
Drivers over cooked it going into a turn or getting on or off a freeway on or off ramp, lifted the throttle, hit the brakes and then Katy bar the door.

That stat does not surprise me. It’s pretty easy to swap ends in a 911, even for a highly competent driver. They can be a little tempermental.
