[vanity] Fantasy football: Tre Mason or Matt Forte in my TD-heavy league?

Only 1 point per 25 yards, 6 per TD. Yes, Forte is a stud - and the coaches have committed to getting the ball in his hands - but if he couldn't find the end zone against the Packers or Vikings how will he do it against the Lions? Mason has established himself as the #1 RB in St. Louis and faces the generally pathetic Faders.

Mason's good, but the Rams are generally not great in the Red Zone. If FGs do you no good, look elsewhere.

Forget Forte. Cutler has to throw the ball down field to his big receivers. It’s now or never.

If you get points for receiving yds and tds, go for Forte.

I noticed he's got only one TD - but the Rams have faced a string of tough run Ds, much tougher than Oakland. Conversely, Forte is 1-for-5 against teams as stingy with run TDs as Detroit.

(And in a 12-team league, the waiver wire is well picked over.)

Can you pick up CJ Anderson of the Broncos?

I’m sorry that I didn’t encourage you more on Tre Mason. Great game, though!

I have nobody to blame but myself. Probably Mason's best performance of the season, and I left him on my bench :( - but despite my probable loss this weekend (unless Jarvis Landry goes off for 3 TDs and 100+ yards tonight) losses by other teams have clinched me a wild card spot. :)
