This thread is a total setup for glib comments but being killed by a bear is a horrible way to go. I know two men who were attacked by brown bears in SE Alaska - one survived with terrible facial scars and the other was eaten. The search party found his head for his wife to identify. Not funny at all.
It is terrible. And young people by nature do not take threats like that seriously. They are still in the youthful invincible mode of thinking.
