A man who once worked closely with beleaguered comedian Bill Cosby has come forward to detail how he once helped the star funnel thousands of dollars to a virtual harem of young women he kept during The Cosby Show's 8-season run.

“this is the nail in the coffin.”
Wouldn’t this be a case of “Cash on the casting couch” instead?
What makes me wonder about all the “accusers” is that none thought enough of their claimed rape to even make a complaint to any police department.
Either all were spineless innocents who thought they were worthless, or something else is in play.
Dreyfus, anybody?
PS I do consider “Theater Persons” to generally be Liberals comfortable with commercializing sex.
PPS In light of the above, “A pox upon them all” seems descriptive, and a guide to this issue.
Some got police involved. Reread the accounts.
There is no implication in Scotti’s story that these women were raped or forced in any way.
IOW, with the possible exception of (slightly) underage girls, it’s a morality and decency issue, not a legal one.
Now, there are a large number of women other than those Scotti discusses who claim Cosby probably raped them. AFAIK, none have claimed they remember such an attack, only inferred it had occurred.
Which, to me, sounds like he’s a guy perfectly willing to go for sex with a willing partner, but unable to accept a women who says no. If she does, he then tries to drug her, and do her while unconscious.
Nobody is permitted to reject him and get away with it.
It also strikes me as the method of a coward. Doesn’t even have the balls, pardon the expression, to use physical force. Only attacks unconcious women.
The media has decided they are going to ruin this guy and come hell or high water, they are going to get it done.
You are correct about complaints. What gives me pause is that in no case went to trail, much less result in a verdict.
Given the acceptance of casual fornication amongst “Theater Persons”, that there will be cases of “Fu*kee’s Regret” is inevitable. Determining whether the situation was, or was not, rape is why we have courts, not columnists and commentators.
That is a fact, money is the object here, no one is going to make a woman do anything she don`t want to do short of a beating and in some cases not even that.
So you don’t believe in rape?
That statement sounds like the precise stereotype many falsely have of conservatives.
TMZ reported that the tweet was NOT from the “real” Lisa Bonet and they backed that up w/a statement from Her agent that Bonet does NOT Tweet.
So far only two Cosby cast members have come out in total support of the former “Dr Huxtable” Malcolm Jamal Warner and Raven Simone. So far Phylicia Allan-Rashad (her ex Ahmad now “seeing” Varlerie Jarrett (D-Iran)—how’s THAT for 6 Degrees of Seperation?) has remained quiet as have the two other actresses who protrayed the other “older” Huxtable daughters.
Rapists never have consensual sex?
I don’t know. I’m not following this that close because he’s old, and there are more important things to for me to be neurotic about that I can’t fix.
LOL Actually not all the woman were white. I saw 1 picture of one of victims and she looked Bi-racial.
So you dont believe in rape?
You said,”...no one is going to make a woman do anything she don`t want to do short of a beating and in some cases not even that.” Perhaps you didn’t mean all that statement implies. I’m sure you actually know that some men force women to have sex against their will, i.e. they rape them.
As I said in another thread, this story has made me wonder if some FReepers are actually liberals paid to sound like mouth-breathing troglodytes. Many comments couldn’t be more stereotypical and unthinking. Imagine how they might come across to female FReepers. I’m not trying to pick on you, but many of the comments on this story fully explain why conservatives have an image problem with women and those under about 35. They also explain why Cosby’s victims wouldn’t have felt safe coming forward long ago. If FReepers, people who still overwhelmingly believe in decency and respect for the law, disbelieve them and beat up on them, how in the world would they have been treated by the rest of the world?
We do tend to forget that we and our own are fully capable of misbehavior too.
Agreed.
That shows that the real power in this country resides not with the people, not even with our elected representatives, but with the MSM.
‘Which, to me, sounds like hes a guy perfectly willing to go for sex with a willing partner, but unable to accept a women who says no. If she does, he then tries to drug her, and do her while unconscious.’
Sounds like Obama with the American people.
Im sure you actually know that some men force women to have sex against their will, i.e. they rape them.
Do you think these women went to his room to hear the Gospel?
