Proponents of the lesser of two evils, strike again!

Posted on 11/22/2014 6:40:53 PM PST by nomad

In the run up to the recent election, people who refused to vote for the lesser of two evils were attacked by the pro-rino crowd here. Well now that your precious GOPe has won and started their back stabbing, obozo`s amnesty comes to mind, what do you retardicans have to say?

So that would be “didn’t vote.” Correct?

We all make choices based on our convictions. I made mine, you made yours. Neither of us is evil.

It’s 12:01 Sunday morning here. Good night.

I never stay home. I work hard to destroy liberal republicans. Dewhurst didn't lose because I stayed home.

You sure are fixated on party.

That's a very lazy way to decide how to vote.

Sounds reasonable to me. I start with their opinion of our Constitution and work my way out from there.

Nah. They don’t actually believe in anything. Thats why they vote liberal every election, call it a conservative choice and then don’t ‘FEEL’ that they are what their actions show them to be. Frauds. Liberals. “The Problem”. If they weren’t those things, they would not vote for those things every election. Simple math. And if they BELIEVED in their own words they hollowly spout, they would be voting for conservatives, not claiming conservatism one moment and arguing to elect libs the next.

I think Blazing Saddles had the right quote.

“You know....morons.”

BTW, if you are going to talk about throwing votes away, third parties have won as many recent presidential elections as liberal republicans.

None.

So don't vote for a liberal AND throw your vote away.

This is in the (brief) topic of the thread: "people who refused to vote for.."

If this isn't about who we voted for and didn't vote for, it's off topic.

I feel like I'm discussing this with Alison Lundergan Grimes.

BTW, a person`s opinion on that document can be inferred by their willingness to try and follow it, or at least try and defend it.

People that vote to empower liberals are evil. Otherwise liberalism is not evil. You wanna make that argument that liberalism isn’t evil sport? Liberals would not be in the GOP unless some idiot voted them into power under the GOP banner. That person is evil. If that person is you, apologize to America and do good for a change.

How many non-liberal republicans were running - in your opinion?

How many of these were running against less-liberal democrats?

And so let’s hurl some more talents at them if we have to, in the power of the Lord.

That's not what happened, nor is it what I think ought to happen.

The Parable of the Talents
(Matthew 25:14-30)
14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[a] and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents,[b] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[c] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
To throw more talents at them is to reward them for their infidelity, their being a wicked and slothful servant — I refuse to equate party with righteousness, as those who say you have to vote Republican seem to implicitly assert.

Here’s the basic point:

When you don’t vote for the lesser liberal, you help the greater liberal.

It would seem the logic here is quite obvious.

And when helping the lesser liberal results in repercussions such as Harry Reid… well you don’t get points for wisdom or living the real world.

As long as you stand back and catcall and complain you will find yourself a self fulfilling prophet.

Heh — well then, I'll at least have succeeded in something.

Doesn't matter how more or less liberal any candidate is.

I don't vote for less-liberal if the candidate is liberal.

Any candidate that I vote for will be pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, for strong borders, for privatized medicine, and smaller government.

It's obvious why I couldn't vote for Romney. Cornyn fails the big government and socialized medicine test with his critical cloture votes that helped Reid with his agenda.

I done ain’t voted for no Democrats this time up here in the Yankee country. That makes 2 years in a row!

Did a couple write-ins against them unopposed candidates. Fortunately, we got 3rd-party here that does cross-endorsements, so I rarely use the GOP line.

I did vote for a fat liberal Republican lady. The one running against the Gay guy that campaigns with his husband. She almost beat the little queer!

Hey no problem...I'm always there to ask you questions which I know you'll evade and dance around just as you did on this thread.

It's always so enjoyable when I get people like you to define the tag line below. You do it so well and every time.

Have a great night. Oh...And I hope I didn't make your nervous tick twitch too much. ☺

that helped Reid

Harry Reid would still be in charge of the Senate if your position was followed by more folks.
