In the 1800s, the age of consent was usually around 10-13. In England, it was raised to 13 in 1875. Canada raised it from 14 to 16 in 2008. Iceland raised it from 14 to 15 in 2007.
In Idaho and Hawaii, it is 14. It is 15 in Virginia and Colorado. Arizona uses 18. Some of the states with limits below 16 do so only if the person having sex is within a certain age bracket of the girl.

I don’t believe the stories about drugs. Back then, Cosby was “Cool Cos”. And how many girls/women continue to meet with a guy who has already used drugs to rape them? Not many, I guess...
I too have wondered about Lisa Bonet. She really went off the deep end AFTER her “Cosby Show years.” I can’t recall the name of the film (never saw it or wanted to see it) but she was in a very dark, unrated at one point, bayou voodoo film (I recall regarding at the time it was graphic in many ways and her rebelling against her “Cosby kid status” was part of the controversy). I wonder if, possibly her on-set experiences contributed to her rebellion or if she just “snapped” from her what MAY have occurred. She just went “odd” by the time she left the show.
The press will not go after Bill Clinton until Hillary is no longer viable to be president. Then he will be toast.
Bottom line is I was attempting to let the original person I was talking to that it wasn't HIS daughter.
As for the allegations regarding Dylan, I leave that up to the justice system since I find it impossible to determine whom is telling the truth in a he said she said situation.

Bonet and Phylicia Rashad both spoke of their high level of respect for Cosby. Rashad still does, at least recently has. Bonet fell out of favor after shooting a fairly raunchy nude scene in Angel Fire.

How many young men's careers did he take such a keen interest in that he would readily pay for their college tuition & fly to see only them in various cities while conveniently overnighting with them?
24/7 class clownishness can be a sign that a person doesn't know how to relate to others at a serious emotional connective level.

It’s not my opinion, actually. An expert on the subject said she was coached when the matter was being litigated, and Woody Allen was never charged. I’m not going to take sides, but say that there is another side to the story, the media is sensationalistic, and that Woody Allen got a bad rap.
A girl that played a waitress on his show filed a police report in 2000.
The police didn't use his name and never contacted Cosby.
That’s what I was saying, Cosby was not capable of serious communication. It was not just annoying, it was rude.
I believe all the stories, but I don’t believe the part about being a father figure., I think that the women wanted something from him and justified it as being a father figure.
He didn’t exactly do a great job with his own son.

Covington filed her police report three days after the alleged incident. No charges were filed against Cosby.”
I don’t like Cosby. I never have. I’ve only read one account. In that account, the girl/woman traveled around the country and went to his hotel at night for 4 years. I don’t think there is anything credible in her story.
I have disliked Cosby since an interview he did back when “I Spy” was on TV. I never watched the Cosby Show. He did one routine in the 60s that I found funny. Other than that, I found him weird. I felt that way when I was about 10 years old, so I think a girl in her late teens ought to have noticed something, as should her parents. Who in the hell lets their ‘little girl’ travel across the country and spend time alone with an older man in his hotel, and encourages it!?!?
I don’t believe it. Yet. IMO they cancelled the shows prematurely.

You have only read one account of his almost 40 years (so far) of drugging and raping and violence against women and you invest all this time and energy into defending him and attacking the women?
One article said he is almost blind in one eye.
At the same time his show in Arizona, New Mexico and a third state were cancelled completely. This is nor going away, thank heavens.
