Several years ago, the Pew Foundation (very liberal) did a detail survey and determined that the number of illegals in the U.S. at that time was at least 55 million and more likely up to 70 million. Since then, many millions more have sneaked into the U.S. and since then, every family has been creating anchor babies every 9 months which means that there are probably over 100 million illegals here...not the 11 million first mentioned during the Clinton administration. Our local elementary school is about 3/4 Hispanic. The Los Angeles City scholl system is estimated at over 90% Hispanic.
The Democrats don't want you to know how many there are because they are looking at a permanent voting control across this country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We knew this would be the path to the Permanent Socialist Democrat Majority ten years ago. They TOLD us this as the “Great Plan” of the Soros-financed groups.
Some were listening. Far more watched “The Daily Show”. In the end, we have NO ONE to blame for this but OURSELVES, and our own apathy.
Where are the tens of thousands of American Citizens protesting at the White House against this clearly illegal act? (silence)

Simply enforce E-verify, jail employers who violate it and cut off all welfare bennies to illegals.
A fence would be great too, but only doing these few simple and almost free things would make this problem go away in a matter of 1 year!
Yes the most I ever heard estimated was 20 million. A lot have gone back home due to the depression. There is no construction work anywhere for one thing. As soon as the economy recovers they will start flooding back into the country. We need to seal the border before that happens.
The sad fact for all of us Americans is that the politicians don’t want to make the illegals go home. GOP and Democrat are wedded to letting them stay. They will wear us all down until finally they will pass this new immigration law that lets most of them stay.
After the politicians agree to let the 11 million stay they will not announce that all of the families of the 11 million will be allowed to immigrate so you will really see about 20-30 million new unskilled, uneducated welfare wannabes’ and new Dem voters in the US. Most of those people will never apply for citizenship as they are happy being Mexican. They will not assimilate in great numbers either.

Yeah. 70 million to 100 million defies common sense. Unfortunately the left are not the only ones to put out propaganda to sway public opinion. And too many times we conservatives show a severe lack of discernment and critical thinking ability.
These wildly inflated numbers pop up at times. Just don’t stand up to analysis, however.
Nobody knows the exact number, of course, but it’s probably somewhere around 12M.
Mexico just isn’t capable of swamping the US in numbers. Their total population is a fraction of ours at ~120M. Some considerable fraction is of course here. I don’t know if they’re counted in the 120M.
BTW, they no longer have a high fertility rate. It’s at 2.27 now, only slightly above replacement.
Interestingly, they also recently passed the US as the nation with the highest percentage of obese people. A possible explanation for the decline in fertility?

I have a VERY difficult time believing that one in three people in the US is an illegal.
There are plenty of places where it’s difficult to even find Hispanics or Asians.
If the Congress would either lower or do away with the Corporate Income tax business might be able to hire Americans at a decent wage and still be competitive. We have the highest corporate income tax in the world.
As bad as illegal immigration is, our legal immigration policies that allow 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants and 640,000 guest workers a year are far more damaging. Approximately 30 million legal immigrants have entered this country since 1990. 87% of them are minorities as defined by the USG. They use welfare programs to a significantly higher degree than the native born.

Yes I agree. We should be letting no more than about 250,000 per year in through legal immigration. The US has no more responsibility to allow the rest of the world into our country than China or Russia or any other country.
The illegal immigration is the worst though because we can’t control how many come and who comes. We are the greatest country on Earth and we are getting the dregs of society from mostly Mexico. No country can absorb the entire underclass of another country and retain its national identity and economical stability.
