A particular slap in the face to those who came here legally, jumped through all the hoops.....like my husband did. Maybe next will be Canada? They have destroyed Mexico, soon to destroy America, next further North?
This is a big slap-in-the-face, stab in the back. I had been still hoping to pull myself up and out of the unemployment (no money, no “benefits”, no “house” etc.) HELL I’ve been living in. This is the final stab. I know now that I won’t be able to pull myself up after being a full-time stay-at-home mom and housewife (and unfortunately divorced after 21 years). I will now be competing with more, younger, and more “fluent in Spanish requirements” which I am not fluent anymore, for a job. Last night I realized that I am toast. The Country that offered the American Dream, was no more for me, and possibly my children.
I forgot to add, YES, this is a BIG SLAP to your Husband who immigrated the LAWFUL WAY.
