I saw an article this morning where they addressed that rather horrid “c*ck-up” in the original song. They’re pretty sorry that line was in there.
They also changed Bono’s original line “Well tonight thank God it’s them/Instead of you”, which Bono has said he “utterly despised”.
Well I will say, it still was a thousand times better than “We Are The World”, and that dreadful remake they did for Haiti.
