They are late to the cause. Africa has had a bunch of ebola songs. In part because there were conspiracy theorists there saying that it was hysteria and that ebola wasn’t real, it was just a government plot (and that it was being used to kill of people).
They had to create an “ebola is real” campaign to get people to listen up.
Here the government/media is trying to downplay the threat caused by ebola. Never in history had there been a reported case in America, now we’ve seen several inside a few months and two deaths so far.
