From the article ...

Emerald White says in her lawsuit filed this week in Galveston County district court that she was "seriously injured" on Oct. 27 trying to stop the attack and retrieve her dogs. She says she suffered "multiple serious bite and scratch-type injuries" and accuses her neighbors of failing to securely confine and restrict their dog, Bailey.

So because the neighbors failed to "securely confine and restrict" their 10 yo beagle which was in their OWN YARD, she deserves a million dollars. Is this a wonderful country or what! I do believe that she might be a Wendy Davis voter, that kind of legal brilliance matches.

FYI: The neighbors had been resisting suggestions that they sue this woman before they got served with her suit. Time for a re-think perhaps?

The bar associations protect their members 1000% ,, it’s nearly impossible to sue someone over a blatantly bogus claim like this. It’s the lawyers motto ,, sue first ask questions later.. and why shouldn’t it be when there are no consequences for them..
