I get a kick out of going on gun owner websites and read where guys are posting on how they would stop this black thug behavior dead in its tracks. Its all internet boasting.
White males today only care about getting along, drinking craft beers, watching Jon Stewart to brush up on their sarcasm, buying junk with their Amazon prime account, living life through their college football teams and playing fantasy football and chasing tail.
Nobody will stand up because god forbid they will be called racist. Or because we should let the “law” handle it.

The National Guard is not going to clear the streets with a "whiff of grapeshot. They are allowed to use deadly force to protect themselves, to protect the lives of others, to protect key infrastructure, such as power plants, and perhaps some forms of arson.
They cannot shoot looters for looting. The National Guard provides an "official presence", prevents rape and murder in front of their noses, and guards key infrastructure. If they face rioters who have been educated to understand that so long as they are not attacking the National Guard, killing, raping, burning or attacking key infrastructure, the National Guard is not going to use deadly force, things could get very bad.
Maybe white males perceive the law to be stacked against them if they use deadly force against charging blacks bent on violence.

If you want to do something remove your proverbial shackles, pull your bootstraps up and lead the way out of the darkness. Your leaders and mentors like Jackson and Sharpton seek to keep you enslaved as they have become the new plantation owners. Until the black community does something other than lean on the POSoTUS and the like of Harry “demented” Reid and Nancy “Baghdad Bob” Pehosi for your next dime then you will continue to be suppressed and you will continue to blame anyone but yourself for your troubles. Accountability. Responsibility. Up and Onward should be your mantras. Not “Take it to the man.” for the man you are taking it to has nothing to do with your own current dilemma. Never before in the history of this country has there been so much help out there for minorities to raise up above their current social standing and the very few who have taken it. The world cannot hold you up forever for eventually just like Detroit and New Orleans and countless cities in California before it, the world will come crashing down and such help will no longer be available. That day draws ever nigh. It is up to each individual to not just show up to work but to create sweat equity in your future and the future of your family and everyone who follows you. I agree with your statement that this Administration has made it very clear that if in anyway you defend yourself against black thugs there is a very good chance the racist DOJ is coming for you.
But I stand by my statement that most white males today have no will to confront black “in your face, racist criminal behavior”.
I learned everything I need to know about this subject by reading what white gun owning Republicans wrote on internet sites during the first few weeks of the Zimmerman shooting. White guys loved throwing George under the bus....crying about how it makes “us gun owners” look bad and racist. Reading where military and LEO guys calling him a “cop wannabe” and that he should never have confronted the thug. See that’s what its all about with most white guys today. Don’t ever confront thugs or even call them out. Just stay hidden and mind your own business or let the cops deal with it.
The Bundy Ranch incident also was a lesson on conservative guys bitchin that “he’s not a guy to stand up for” “makes us all look bad”.
In short, most white males sadly still have no clue the hatred this Country has for them, and the hatred blacks will keep bringing. 93% of voting blacks voted for a stone cold racist President in 2012.
