Oh, it’s based on history and fact. The Reconstruction Era was worse for Alabama than for other southern states, because it existed out of international commerce lanes. That’s why racism and the Klan held on so long there.
Yea, seeing how there is no racism in Boston, Philly, Chicago, L.A., Oakland, New York City, St. Louis etc etc.
It always amuses me when someone from a place that has, say 5% or less black population can lecture States with 25% or more black population on race relations. It’s real easy to get along with people you never interact with or even see.(North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Utah, Vermont, New Hampshire etc).
