That’s not the definition of “caliphate”, but it certainly is dhimmitude on a colossal scale.

OMG - the man should speak on things he knows about - what that would be I don’t know. Not being able to see the face of the person teaching them may affect the child’s ability to take things in. Some children more than others respond to visual stimuli and to body or facial expression. My mother who was an educator said this is the dumbest thing she has ever heard. Using voice, facial expression and body language are key to controlling a class of children and to impart or stress the importance of different points you wish them to learn.

Sounds like they’re in the process of surrendering. So, why don’t they simply follow President Obama and OPEN THEIR BORDERS to these hordes?

Let the teachers wear veils? No problem. Nuns have worn veils for eons. Get a few strict nuns in the classroom and the students will be thinking about their school work.

It's interesting, to a progressive muzzie-hugger, the one woman in a veil is a sexually-repressed victim of a homophobic and misogynistic patriarchal institution and the other in a veil is a fully liberated woman living her life in accord with her religion and her culture.

This is a spiritual deception which can only be overcome through prayer.

(Sister should be brandishing a wooden ruler, by the way!)

What will the feminists say! Women burned bras now leftists think its great they wear a full bodied veil showing only the eyes.

That is the paradox. Feminists will GLADLY accept the burka because it is non-Western in origin. The spin will be that burkas are good because they take sexuality out of the equation. Yeah, really.

Wearing a mask in public is the preserve of the Lone Ranger and nobody else.

"Have they learned nothing over there?"

Silly person. Of course they have learning something. They've learned that diversity is the cure for all of society's ills. They've learned that weakness in the face of evil is really civilized. The fact that they are wrong, doesn't change the fact that they've learned something.

I remember reading a book about the personal experiences of a Frenchman living in occupied France during WWII. The author wasn't famous but lived a middle class life in Paris. He did not belong to the resistance, but assisted in secondary ways, e.g. leaving doors open in case someone needed to hide fast, fed families of those that were arrested, etc... ..

He observed: Even though the French and Germans had a rivalry that went back many years, a lot of Frenchmen sought ways to live peacefully with the Germans. Interestingly enough, those that sought harmony the most were the "keepers of society": police, bureaucrats, clergy, etc... . His take was that those that are the drones of society (which he considered himself to be) worked hard not to lose what they had, even if it meant acting as a secondary citizen. They considered themselves to be good people and since peace was good, then trying to keep the peace was also good. Even if keeping the peace was slowly causing society to collapse.

You could turn a drone into a fighter, but you had to do something that personally impacted that person, e.g. kill her husband and force her into poverty.
