I’m certain the casual viewer has no clue what is going on.
Considering how tight everybody is playing, I’m surprised no one is firing out to steal more pots.
I could win it easily, if they showed me everybody’s cards, like on t.v.
I think they all heard Newhouse’s comments about the misery of finishing 9th last year.
And since ninth place goes home with no new money (they’ve all been paid ninth place money already), it’s understandable why they are all playing tightly.
No one wants to be ninth on November 9.
Newhouse just made a great attempt but still went out in 9th place, again.
He not only will be remembered for back to back final tables but back to back 9th place fails.
I moved to a place I can’t play poker anymore, probably a good thing you really don’t get better with age as the age of this final table demonstrates. I still enjoy watching, but not so much live events. PokerStars actually has much better matches. Aussie Millions is a hoot as well.
What I cannot stand when watching these young kids playing in these tournaments is the constant chip shuffling.
It is something that they have to have practiced for a long time and then do it at the tables constantly to make it look like it is an unconscious nervous habit. They aren't fooling anyone but they think it makes them look oh-so-cool. Poseurs.
