Mars has some weird things about it’s moons too...

The clip doesn't pertain to the moon. It just so happened that the object, which is much closer to the camera, just happened to transit the moon.

Yes, Iapetus does have some interesting, odd features. I think it is Phobos that is supposed to be “the odd one” out of Mars’ two moons.
