I remember that woman traveling to NJ from Penn., got stopped and informed the officer she was carrying because that’s what she thought she was supposed to do. I don’t know if she will be doing time or not.

She's who I'm thinking about, amongst others. How can they possibly think that prosecuting that woman is important to the state? The state's legal fangs just won't let go, like a pit bull that has to be hit on the head with a hammer once it's jaws are locked onto a small child. They simply refuse to reason.

I'd listened to an interview of the poor guy who was merely transporting his firearms from one house to another in New Jersey and got caught up in some preposterous legal trap where there's missing language in the law that allows him to move his gun from one residence to another. He had to appeal to the "Republican" governor of New Jersey to commute his sentence. He was sentenced to five years, and some of those consecutive years were for multiple counts of 'possession of a hollow-point bullet'. *What?!*

Anyone in the Republican party who thinks the Western US is going to vote for a Republican from one of those states is higher than hell from sniffing model airplane glue. Just no way that's happening. Someone in the upper tier of the party needs to take a look at an electoral map from last week's election and learn what we're voting for these days. It sure isn't that weird patriarchal Republican sect of the party. The East Coast mindset is poison in the Western US.
