I’ve got ‘em around my place all year long. They get along fine with my other critters, but they love to get into my shed and pull my tools out.LOL!

I have a fish pond that I struggle to keep fish in. Every time I purchase feeder goldfish from the local pet store they disappear within a few weeks. And when I buy them the clerk at the counter usually asks what am I feeding (she thinks it's fish). I tell her raccoons. :-)

Years ago I purchased 2 crayfish and threw them into the pond. Apparently one was a male and one was a female, so before long I had dozens. They've been gone for some time now, and may be why the coons homesteaded under my deck. They're out every night and seem to fear me little. Can't say the same about the dogs, though.
