For that reason alone he is unfit for being the Leader of America.

I guess we can agree to disagree, FRiend.

So, if Walker is our nominee will you hold your nose and vote for him or will you make the same mistake millions of conservative voters did in 2012 and stay home and give us a President Hillary or Elizabeth?

If he backs:

1. Abortion
2. The Gay Agenda in any fashion
3. Amnesty

He won't get my vote.

Otherwise, I will gladly vote for him.

I don't vote for those I consider my enemies, just like I didn't vote for Mitt Romney, because he supported both Abortion and the Gay Agenda, and as we found out AFTER the election, he also supports Amnesty.

Oh, and by the way, that's not a "mistake", that's called doing the right thing.

We’ll have plenty of time between now and May 2016 to sort out the sheep from the goats.

As of right now, until Scott Walker walks back his support for Amnesty, he's one of the goats.

sort of living through the proof of that right now.

Ronald Reagan was a governor before he was President (not that he would recognize what became of California now).

The 2016 election cycle will be fun and interesting to follow.

Like you, I hope the MSM doesn't pick our candidate for us.

No candidate will meet the universal demands of FR purity.
(Reagan certainly wouldn’t have)

But I’m excited that there is now a non-zero chance of having a Republican POTUS in 2017.

Only if there is no one in the eventual field of GOP POTUS candidates who is:

1. Pro-Life
2. Anti-Gay Agenda
3. Anti-Amnesty

Utter nonsense and B.S.

Reagan easily passes muster where conservatism is concerned.

Yes he passed an Amnesty, however, he realized that it was the biggest mistake of his political career.

If Reagan were alive and running today, he would no more back Amnesty than he would be Pro-Abortion in any sense.

That same stupid and fallacious excuse is trotted out every election cycle to make excuses for sub-par candidates.

Before JFK, the last senator to be president was Harding. Harding also was a former governor.

Let’s hope that Ted Cruz proves Walker’s statement wrong. If Soetoro gets his way, all the good Republican governors have done won’t matter if all of the US is turned into Ground Zero.

Total deportation is the ONLY option.

Just follow the law and stop trying to rewrite it with “pathway” BS!!!!

but if you don’t have the experience and temperament of a chief executive that knows how to hold everyone under you accountable, then your administration basically......

Everyone says that and just assumes that being a governor gives you all that experience - and that not being one means you don't have it. True sometimes, but not always. Moreover, the country does not need an "executive" now - we need an inspirational leader. Not saying Walker can't be that, but he is from Wisconsin, which means there is an inner liberal in there somewhere. But let's be real - Walker is saying this in a self serving manner to put himself above Cruz and Paul - figuring he'll beat Krispy and Jeb.

And back when Reagan made the amnesty mistake, the welfare handouts were not the big magnet they are today. I think the gov handouts are a far bigger attraction in the last 5-6 years than jobs. The illegals are going gangsta and “street.”
