President, VP May Differ on Immigration Strategy: 'Obama Angrily Cut Biden Off'

President Obama and Vice President Biden might not see eye-to-eye on immigration strategy. A hint of an apparent disagreement was on display during Obama's lunch with congressional leaders on Friday at the White House.

"The meeting was tense at times, according to a senior House Republican aide. The aide was not authorized to describe the back-and-forth publicly by name and spoke only on condition of anonymity," the Associated Press reports.

"Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word. The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said."

I've read we may be heading into some very dangerous and unprecedented times due to what Obama may try to pull now that he's backed into a corner. My first impression was, well, what can he really do now? Now, I'm starting to have some concerns. I've also read that the military is preparing for a civil war? WHAT? Why in Hades would they be doing that? I sure hope that's only a wild conspiracy belief with no roots of truth.

I've recently read about a Judge who says she won't step down and a candidate in Alaska who refuses to concede a loss even with 100% of the votes in. Stuff like this really worries me.

But, from what I'm hearing and reading for stories like this, Obama seems to be consumed with hatred towards any who oppose him.

I really hope if Obama does go off, the people we put in to stop him, will stop him.

Spot-on. That's exactly why Republicans were elected in this historical election cycle.

It certainly wasn't to "negotiate" with or "find common ground" with Obama --- it was purely to stop Obama dead in his tracks.

Any Republican who negotiates with or "finds common ground" with Obama will be gone come 2016.

Boehner and the rest of the Republican's better start looking to Ted Cruz for real leadership. He's apparently one of the few/only Republicans in DC that gets it.

Agree. I think that Obama being not of slave heritage blinds him to the typical African-American mindset. I have seen first hand entire apartment complexes empty out of blacks and convert to Latino when a few start to move in. Our elementary school went from a white/black school to a white/latino school in one school year because of this.

I think Obama has ticked off the black community with his amnesty talk. Sure, he may gain the Latino vote (which tends towards conservatism on social issues), but blacks see Latinos as taking their job opportunities and unfortunately, their minority victim status. My opinion is that Blacks resent a new ethnic group gaining status when they have a history of past suffering. This will not be pretty for the Democrats.

Poor old Joe Biden. He was just trying to keep the conversation going in a positive way and Obama kicked him like a whimpering dog in front of everybody else just to show everybody that HE'S the boss. I'm afraid that in the wake of this humiliating defeat, Old Joe's going to start playing the role of the abused spouse to that narcissistic bastard.

Oh well. I'm sure Joe Biden has his sights set on 2016 ...
