Republican House speaker John Boehner warned President Obama ...
“I’ve made clear to the president that if he acts unilaterally on his own, outside of authority, he will poison the well,” Boehner said in a Thursday press conference. “And there will be no chance for immigration reform moving in this Congress. It’s as simple as that.”
The speaker trotted out the same warning when pressed on whether executive action would be a “catalyst” for congressional immigration action, as the White House has suggested. “When you play with matches, you take the risk of burning yourself,” he cautioned. “And [President Obama] is going to burn himself if he continues to go down this path.”

Obama does not think Boehner’s ‘defiance’ will last even till this Thanksgiving, after which, Boehner is expected to just go silent on the topic. Another moving Red Line, as it were.

Let’s wait and see. For the last 6 years with a senate minority, there wasn’t a lot Boehner could do. Defund something? Would have destroyed them.
Now they are in charge. More conservatives in the house will get bills to the senate. Majority in the senate will get bills sent to Bambi’s desk. 41 rat votes will trigger press conferences about rat obstruction. And there is nothing they can do about it.
Let’s keep our powder dry and wait till January. In the meantime, keep on your congressmn.

I watched his news conference. He said that the House has voted repeatedly to repeal ACA, and it sat in the Senate. He said that they passed repealing parts of ACA which also sat in the Senate. He said that now he expects these bills will be brought to vote before the Senate, because that is what the people want, and then we can see what Obama does.
You guys are pathetic....you are NEVER satisfied.....GIVE THEM A CHANCE or would you rather have Pelosi and Reid??? Maybe you would.
