The only way to protect all of us from Involuntary Suicide is to prohibit ALL suicide. Just as the only way to protect people from Involuntary Sterilization and Involuntary Abortion is to prohibit ALL sterilization and abortion.
The moment you allow suicide, sterilization, and abortion, you have admitted that sterilization, suicide, and abortion are reasonable choices.
INSTANTLY, the question arises: What can we do about people who REFUSE to do what is clearly REASONABLE?
The answer is ALWAYS: Force them.
People are always eager to categorize objections to an evil social policy as “religious.” That way, they can pretend it isn’t a matter of JUSTICE, but a matter of “can’t eat pork” or “can’t eat meat on Friday.”
