The NFL has never been more QB friendly or more determined to see the passing game succeed, and no two QBs have benefited more than Brady and Manning, though Brees and Aaron Rodgers are enjoying the good times too. The last 10 years have turned 300 yard games into hum-drum affairs - even a QB who played as recently as Brett Favre was playing a different game than these guys under the current rules.
Thus completing the wussification of the NFL. Give me the era of Butkus, Nobis, and Nietzke. It was more enjoyable before the NFL tried being more like the NBA.
