MCALLEN, Texas -- The leader of a border militia group who was arrested earlier this week on federal weapons charges had a suspected explosive device in his room, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas show. Federal agents arrested Kevin “KC” Massey earlier this week at a local motel in the border city of Brownsville.

When agents searched his room they discovered an ammunition can filled with ammonium nitrate and fuel, an inventory of the items seized by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives show. Agents also seized an AK-47 with six loaded magazines, a loaded handgun and various other items including camera and computer equipment.

Both Massey and Forrester were arrested this week and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm after federal agents discover d that both men had prior felony convictions and could not own the weapons that they had during the shooting incident.

Massey is expected to be in court later this week for a detention hearing while Forrester is expected back in court next week. Both Massey and Forrester have requested court appointed attorneys claiming they don’t have the funds to pay for one.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the person they arrested was a government agent. We have a government that will stop at nothing to take control over all our lives. Just look at what happened to the few journalists who were seen as a threat to the regime.

He is an ex-felon according to the article. What was his crime and did he receive leniency?

‘Remember, when...’

Youre making it sound like its past tense. It isnt. The only thing thats changed is theyve become more lawless. The ATF is a band of lawless goofs who cant shoot straight. I agree, nothing the ATF says can be trusted...NOTHING.

According to this crazy article he was the “leader” of the militia. Not sure if that is true or not.

How do you police the leader of the militia if it is true? Kinda like policing Obama...see how well that is going for us.

This last “arrest and seizure” seems a little too classic setup. They are already in trouble for felon in possession and now they are found with AK and bomb in room. Smells just a little bit.

Yeah, agreed. Sounds like Tannerite not a bomb, but I’m guessing.
