Have seen this before. It really is gut busting funny, equal to or better than any of the SNL parody commercials, especially since it was done in all seriousness. Mr. Mason must have been extremely hard up for money (alimony settlement?) vis the “I can’t believe I’ve sunk this low” expression on his face. There are echoes in Welles’ Gallo commercials and Bill Murray’s Japanese whiskey commercial gig in “Lost in Translation”.

For my money nothing beats a sloshed Orson Welles beginning his line with

"Muuaaahhhhh the Freeehhhhhnch..."

I say it and laugh to myself in the car, and my 3 year old pickerd it up and now goes around saying it. It's a big hit in her daycare.
