I’ve always been fond of the happy ending to the Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu story. Very heart-warming! Perhaps the same fate awaits a modern-day tyrant and his arrogant, overbearing wife as well?
I remember that couple. I recall a story on the day of their execution. Elena told a soldier “I treated you as if I was your mother” The soldier responded “ You murdered my mother you beotch” and so the beatiful sounds of bullets spraying upon Elena. That’s beautiful story.
I love that ending, too. There is a good YouTube video of them just before they were shot.
