The blue strip on that boat seems vaguely familiar, but I can't place it.

I seem to recall seeing that, or one like it -- and being immediately irritated for how it reminded me of Coast Guard (not that those guys are all bad guys--- at first sight I just didn't care for what seemed like allusion towards CG markings -- even the blue strip really is not trying to fake CG).
The youtube clip looks like maybe -- Oregon, or even Washington -- but I can't place it.

Fixed fortifications being something of monuments to the stupidity of man, being able to move great distances under sail, and with big diesel fuel tanks and an engine which could push the boat to hull speed efficiently -- could be an option, even as boats are holes in the water where all the money goes...
