News in just a case made, much like a lawyer.... Oops, that is the problem when Lawyers take over politics - everything results in an argument and must be decided by case law. Even headlines are used as opening statements in framing the argument. I rest my case, you be the jury.

In his “Man in the Arena” speech, Theodore Roosevelt pointed out the superiority of performance - even flawed performance - over criticism. But critics object to being told that they don’t count in the same way as the performer does.

And since journalists are all critics, never performers, they are in a constant battle for relevance and even dominance. And they consider that “all’s fair in love and war.” That, IMHO, is what makes journalists “liberal."
