I can only speak for myself and not others. But my take on it is that she was very foolish to get involved with Bill Clinton in that manner. Thus she becomes the butt of the jokes. I do think it is sad that her whole life is now defined by the tawdry adventures with Bill Clinton. But she brought that notoriety on herself. What she thought was private became public knowledge.

I doubt you'll find anyone supporting Bubba here but she was no angel. She gladly serviced her president. Would probably do it again. Somebody should ask her that question on Twitter.
People forget that at least two foreign nations had recordings of Bilbo and Monica on their late night phone chats.
I believe one of them was Israel, and they tried to warn the White House what a security risk this was.
There is no question that Bill Clinton should have been removed from office for breaking the law and creating a national security risk, but on Feb. 12, 1999, the Senate refused to hold him accountable for his actions.
For the good of the country, you know.
Then we got the Kosovo War and Elian Gonzales in 1999 and 2000.
Poor Al Gore—he would have become President in 1999 and he probably would have won the Electoral College in 2000.

A lib of legal age deserves no quarter. And she was.
He was the adult in the room and the President of the United States. He was a married man and a father. He was a generation older than she was. He was the leader of the free world. He should have been above this and not vulnerable to the temptation.
The sex was not the issue that was troublesome. It was the fact that he was setting himself up for potential blackmail that could negatively affect the citizens of this country.
I don't think Monica has ever given this a consideration. With more time, she may realize that it was not all about her...it really was about the entire country.
She, like the Clintons...needs to go away...forever.
