IF Oregon wins out, they are in the Final Four.

Though my Kentucky Wildcats were stomped at LSU 41-3 Saturday night, at 5-2 they are much improved and have a legitimate shot at upsetting number 1 Miss State in Lexington this coming Saturday. I’ve long been a Notre Dame fan second, but wonder if they’re even a Catholic university anymore after they folded and agreed to cover contraceptives and abortifacients in their insurance plans. Still, I found myself rooting for them Saturday night as they lost a heartbreaker to Florida State 31-27. I think it’s a disgrace that Flo St allows Jameis Winston to play.

The WVU-Marshall game would be big this year. But they aren’t playing.

As expected, my Oklahoma State Cowboys fell out the bottom of the rankings after a 42-9 curb-stompin’ by Texas Christian. Back to wandering in the wilderness of the Big 12...

Oddly, despite losing, after last night, I’d favor Notre Dame ahead of FSU in any neutral site. Remember folks: that was an AWAY game for Notre Dame. But I understand you can’t give more credit to the losing team.

If 3 of either Miss State, Ole Miss, Bama or Auburn finish with one loss there won’t be room if Fla State remains undefeated. The Quackers strength of schedule isn’t comparable to the SEC West much less the SEC as a whole. At least that’s how the new playoffs are supposed to work, not as a representative any particular conference.

Anyone else think that the two divisions in the ACC should be called, “the real ACC” and “the Big East ACC”?

Louisville... BC... Syracuse... Miami... Pitt... Virginia Tech...

Also: since UConn sucks so bad at football and the American Conference is going nowhere in football, do you think maybe they might do what’s best for basketball, and re-join the Big East for non-football sports?

Apparently, Arizona State’s therapy sessions are finally paying off. They overcame their mental block with Stanford.

Baylor lost to a, at the time, unranked team. But so did Oregon so I don’t understand either.

Don’t worry, OU’s not far behind. They are going to have to change the name from Bedlam to Bitlame.

OSU Stunk it up pretty good. OU on the other hand just has one of their three teams, Offense, Defense, and Special Teams the day off.
