Standard hospital protocol for a breach of a isolation patients are medical staff isolate themselves and stay local so hospital physicians can check in on you at all hours

I've been doing this for forty years, and I have no idea what you are talking about.

HERE is the CDC document titled "monitoring and movement of persons with exposure to Ebola".

Please read it, and then tell me how it applied to Amber Vinson.

Hello .You proved my point.
This whole CDC phone call story line sounds like a made up story.

The CDC is not in charge of this Dallas based 600 bed teaching hospital and its policies or any hospital in the US.

Why would a Isolation RN ever call the CDC ?
She has to call her bosses at UT Presby which run a Nursing School .There is no way she was okay-ed by her supervisors and the UT Medical Director to travel after she was exposed to this patient.
