Happens every election as it is, votes whether trunk of car pulled out of a hat more voters than registrants, they get away with it everywhere. We did get a few for voter fraud in not too far from me, see I don't know how that turned out. Did they shove it down the rat hole when we were immersed in other issues? Now that horrid Supreme Court decision about voter ID.
It's mostly on purpose; some is the roll of the dice nobody foresaw because the best of criminals can't always imagine the ultimate outcome. The best we can hope for now is damage control. I really can't envision any scenario by which the damage done by the Democrats and some by Republicans can be rolled back.
They aren't working for us. Prepare for the worst, hope for better.
