A McChicken and two apple slice packets would cost a total of $2.00. An Arby's Classic Roast Beef Sandwich is $3.00. There's a Mexican Restaurant around here that would provide three students with twice that amount of freshly prepared food for $6 total for what they call one meal. Splitting a Chipolte meal two ways wouldn't cost much more.

The kids would be better off if fast food restaurants could compete for the student's lunch money.
